The Users

The package is, in particular, addressed to the employees of government and semi-government offices, public undertakings, corporations and banks who are required to acquire a level of competence in functional Hindi to be able to perform official transactions in the Official language. This package can also be used by the teachers as a supplementary aid or companion which can greatly reduce much of their routine drudgery of administering exercises, evaluating them, devising grammatical explanations and narrating the text with standard pronunciation and intonation in the classroom.

This course can be pursued by users who have either completed the Praveen Hindi course or by those who already have a working knowledge of spoken and written Hindi of almost equivalent level. The package can also be used by those whose mother tongue is Hindi and who despite their general competence in Hindi, are not confident to perform office work in Hindi for want of appropriate knowledge of the officialese, i.e. the language form, expressions and technical terminology used in official Hindi. Subjective questions have been given in a separate module. The user is supposed to answer these questions and show them to a human teacher.
